A Morning in Kahuluu

When I was younger, my family would head out to Kaneohe a couple weekends every month. It’s my dad’s favorite side of the island (and I can’t say whether it’s the easy going lifestyle or the fact that Kaneohe has gnraly tako grounds). Now that I’m taller an life’s crazier, I love any chance to make it out there.

Over the past several months, I’ve been working with an old friend from grade school who lives out in Kahuluu. In May she was crowned Miss Rodeo Hawaii (amazing!) and I’ve had the pleasure of working with her since.

One early morning, Sean and I made a trip out to her ranch house to shoot some photos and video...and meet her rodeo buds aka horses. Ugh, I love animals.

I don't know whether to call days like this work or fun (probably fun).
